Home Alone
Sometimes living alone sucks. Like when you come home and you can't unzip your tight vintage dress because the zipper in the back is caught and you work at it for a good 20 minutes and while pulling on it and frustrated that you can't even undress yourself the whole thing rips in a way that you know can't be fixed. Defeated you go to take a bath and all of a sudden hear this noise inside the apartment and hear the bathroom door open and the shower curtain gets pulled aside and you are deathly afraid because you thought you were by yourself and forgot that your friends cat is staying with you and is apparently a giant pervert. BLAH, last night was pathetic.

Wise Guy
Last week when I went to Largo I saw Patton Oswalt perform. He did this really funny bit about all the rock/pop music that is so awful that he calls "Wisdom Rock" which is basically guys in their 20's that want to fill you with their shallow wisdom. He then stuck his arm out to me, I was in the front row, and did his sensitive rocker voice and said "C'mon girl, let me show you the way." It was hilarious and I keep thinking of it when I hear that type of music. Last night in my spin class we had a substitute instructor that was just playing the crappiest "wisdom rock." At one point he shoots me this long "soulful" look while Creed's "Take Me Higher" song was playing and you could tell he was totally feeling it. I couldn't help it, I totally started to laugh. I am a jerk.
Rub-a-Dub-Dub
Mr. Elwood P Kitty is staying with me. He has decided that he want belly rubs all the time on his fatty tum-tum.

Billy Ray
I went to the Troubadour tonight to listen to Azure Ray. They were so great and I'm really glad that I decided to buy a ticket. They played some of my favorites; Beautiful Things can come from the Dark, Displaced, The Trees Keep Growing, Rise and they ended on the most beautiful version of November. My surprise of the night was turning around and seeing a tall older man with thin white hair dressed in a black turtleneck and a black blazer. I thought it was a bit strange at first because most people there were around my age and younger. Then I noticed...it was Bill Murray! Bill Murray stood behind me the whole show. It was so dark in there I hope he didn't notice my awful dye job haha, kidding. Anyways, I kept sneaking little glances at him. I'm such a fan and have been my whole life. That is by far my best celerity sighting.
Blonde Redhead
I came home yesterday afternoon from my Lompoc Thanksgiving. More on that later when I feel more forgiving and settled back in LA. Anyways, I was feeling a bit crazy and upset so I decided that I need to change my hair. This is typical upset behavior for me. I bought this beautiful shade of dye. Isn't is lovely?

Then oh crap! I didn't have enough to cover all my hair. I redyed it this morning to sad results. The top half dyed great, though not really the natural looking red I wanted but whatev. However the lower bits are still blonde. Grrrr. I need to redye but I want to give it some time before dying it again. So I guess updos from now on, or just fuck it and wear it down.
